Okay, so this isn’t a review. But we haven’t quite worked out how the “upcoming events” part is going to work. However, culturebot strongly recommends The Dresden Dolls.

They played at avant-garde-arama (p.s. 122’s bi-annual festival of performance) last spring and they tore the house down. Pianist/vocalist Amanda Palmer and drummer Brian Viglione make amazing music. Neo-Brechtian, Post-Punk Cabaret, I think they call it. And it’s amazing.
